Fitchner Pool - West End
Fitchner Pool along Sheridan Street in the West End - behind Garfield Junior High (now the middle school). The pool is long gone along with most of the buildings.
I remember being in this pool. I also remember that for years after it was closed it was an empty concrete round hole in the ground with weeds coming up.

My Grandpa lived at 310 Garfield St.
and my Uncle taught me to swim at that pool.
