Missing Caboose - Washington Street

This picture of the now missing Caboose used to be at the Point along Washington Street and was taken in the 1970's. Only the other day - I was trying to explain to my little nephew RJ that this used to be there. I can't remember when it disappeared - do you?

Didn't this railcar burn up? I remember it being a reddish color and I think it burned sometime before it was removed?

Isn't it up by the Prospect Viaduct now?

Wasn't there a little log cabin along here also or was it located on Valley Pike and does anyone know what happened to it?

The car was broken into and moved to the end of the train station parking lot, and painted. It was used as part of the visitors center were they handed out information.

Yes, the caboose is now by the Train Station on Walnut St. by the Prospect viaduct.

The log cabin was on Valley Pike but has been gone for ages.
