It appears to me that this is Market Street at the intersection of Washington Street looking down towards the War Memorial. It looks like Canadian Fur Co. on the left side with Acme Food a little farther down on the same side. Gus Cleaners is on the right side and another Fur Co. just beyond that.
Wow! What a photo. It looks like an early 50s picture. This makes me wish there was time travel. I would enjoy walking downtown to see when there used to be life there.
