Fitchner Pool
VJ Repeat - The pool was located behind Garfield Middle School.

Dad remembers this pool very well. It was near his home. Talk about "morbid" memories though, he remembers several people drowning there. One story is how after the pool closed, there was a beach blanket and bag left unclaimed, so they knew to sweep the pool to find the body belonging to the unclaimed bag...yikes!
